🌴 Little Slice of Paradise | Walk to Beach + ViBe District Studio + Parking

For the price, I thought it would be a lot nicer. The bedding was dirty and the whole place needs a deep clean. I think it’s outrageous to charge a 95 linen fee and have dirty sheets. For me, the location was good, walking distance to both the beach and the convention center.

Very clean and modern, light-filled comfortable room with great bed and couch. Good table to do a jigsaw puzzle on it to eat. Nice TV. Very convenient location and an easy parking place!

When we arrived, the rental's appearance was concerning—it looked quite sketchy. The interior matched the online pictures with its beach décor, but the issues immediately became clear: peeling wallpaper posing as tile, a single thin kitchen towel, scratchy bathroom towels, no beach towels, stained placemats, and the bathroom sink was leaking. We also found a wasp nest in the filthy grill. The owner sent maintenance, who cleaned the grill (and fixed the leaking sink), though I used aluminum foil due to hygiene concerns. The washer and dryer were shared and located outside. As we checked out, we discovered the pillows and mattress were stained and filthy. There were no dressers for unpacking, which was fine because cockroaches were a significant problem. I saw one on the counter the first morning, and despite my daughter’s suggestion it might be a water bug, more appeared daily. By our last night, they were everywhere—under the bed, in the kitchen, and bathroom. I notified the owner, expecting empathy, and requested a partial refund for the sleepless night, but the only feedback was that bugs are expected in warm climates. Despite delaying this review to find positives, I cannot recommend this rental; it was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.
